I proclaim to you good news of great joy: today a Savior is born for us, Christ the Lord.
Christmas Eve as Covenant Night
We have to remember to trust in God and
to be ready whenever God calls upon us.
When I read today’s readings, my initial reaction is –
isn’t it just like God to be this way?
Jesus comes to us, seeks us, pursues us

In the deep silence and core of your being
listen for God’s Word.
Is Christmas predictable?
Lord, help me to use this season for the conversion of myself and my relationships.
Though the mountains leave their place and the hills be shaken,
My love shall never leave you nor my covenant of peace be shaken.
Isaiah 54
For thus says the LORD, The creator of the heavens,
who is God, The designer and maker of the earth
who established it,
Not creating it to be a waste, but designing it be lived in: I am the LORD, and there is no other.
It’s the walk, not the talk, that counts.
Teach me your ways, O Lord.
Rejoice! the Lord is near.
They had eyes, but did not see; ears, but did not hear.
"Fill me with your light."
Mercy: closing the gap
Do you trust God with your life path?
Let us welcome home the lost sheep whose
good company we have been missing.
